Parody on the speed of a snail

Parody on the speed of a snail

We continue our excursion into the speed formula, starting off in only one inertial frame being our real world of the here and the now, being planet earth, also known as Cubic Land, during travels hitchhiking the Universe.
This is a parody, not at all aimed as a sleight on any scientist or scientific work - a body of knowledge I revere - but rather in a first step as the basis of the argument I will use as we hitchhike the Universe.

The most trivial unsolved formula in physics

Our first excursion, without a general solution, will be into the most trivial formula in physics. It is the formula of speed equal to distance divided by time. As long as we remain very provincial in a certain sense, so to speak, we may be able to calculate speeds for a specific earthly location, with earth time and earthly calibrated distances, and then we are home and dry. But that is not the end of the story.

The speed of light - a poem

There was a young lady, Miss Bright,
Who could travel much faster than light.
She went out one day, in a relative way,
And came back the previous night.

Welcome and introduction

Welcome to my new scientific blog: The stuff the Universe is Made of.

I have created this blog to publish my scientific articles and poems in contrast with my ten year old blog on philosophy and other non-scientific subjects named: The Stuff Reality is made of.

Although these are two totally different subjects, I know for sure that somewhere in their development and future there will come a time when they will dovetail and meet as one, as physicists, meta-physicists and philosophers will discover that there are worlds and domains out there which are not physical only, and where time is not a constraint or even measurable.
